Articles retraction policy

The Editor is solely responsible for deciding which submitted articles would be published in the journal. All articles published in BIOENG are kept intact and unaltered on the journal's website, available through a permanent DOI (Digital Object Identifier) link. Eventually, an article may need to be retracted or removed due to authors' misconduct or an editorial failure discovered after publication. BIOENG has prepared this policy for these cases, indicating the actions that will be taken in these cases.

Article retraction

Even subjected to a rigorous evaluation process, if any article is published with a violation of the code of ethics, a retraction note may be published at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief. In academia, some retraction standards have been used, among which BIOENG adopts a retraction note on the first page of the online article.
