All articles published in the Brazilian Journal of Biosystems Engineering (BIOENG) are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license allows anyone to share and adapt the material for any purpose, including commercial use, provided that proper credit is given to the original authors and source.

Copyright

Authors who publish in this journal agree to the following terms:

a) Authors retain the copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License that allows the sharing of the work with recognition of authorship and initial publication in this journal.

b) Authors are authorized to assume additional contracts separately, for non-exclusive distribution of the version of the work published in this journal (eg, publish in an institutional repository or as a book chapter), with recognition of authorship and initial publication in this journal. Policy Information

Author Responsibilities

Archiving and Preservation

BIOENG adopts the LOCKSS system for archiving and preserving the journal's content, which creates a permanent archive distributed among the participating libraries. BIOENG is also part of the  Rede de Serviços de Preservação Digital Cariniana do IBICT, that provides preservation for any Brazilian journal in the system Open Journal System [OJS].
