Abstract

The degradation of the environment is preoccupying, due to the importance of the natural resourcesfor the planet life. With the increasing of the confinement of the dairy cattle this problem has increaseddue to the great production of effluent. Thus, the present work had as objective to evaluate thecontamination of the soil with the irrigation of the wastewater of dairy cattle. It was applied wastewaterin vases just soil, inside protected environment, being used more two treatments, one withwastewater without solid particles, and another one without solid particles and with seasoningsimple superphosphate, beyond the witness. The main joined results had been: (1) the wastewaterpresented high texts of Cu and Fe, in relation the limits established for national and internationalagencies; (2) the soil showed to normal levels of macro and micronutrients, it isn't showingcontamination for heavy metals. Thus, one concludes that the wastewater of the dairy cattle canbe used in irrigation without contamination of the soil.
